The Monaco Energy Boat Challenge is co-organized by the Monaco Yacht Club, the Prince Albert II Foundation and Union Internationale Motonautique. It provides an opportunity for researchers, college students, future engineers, inventors and practitioners in the yacht and energy industry the opportunity to freely play and create inspiration. It is a reliable display platform for new renewable energy power systems.
The 8th Monaco Energy Boat Challenge will be held from July 6 to 10, 2021. At present, 35 teams from 19 countries and 20 international universities have obtained the competition qualifications. At that time, students and industry elites will have a five-day exhibition and exchange study. As the first Chinese team to participate in the competition for the first time, Hainan University will use solar panels and lithium batteries for their boat power systems.
The designer of Lurssen Yacht led US college students to collide with the wisdom of world-renowned shipyards while Hainan University students courageously compete with 18 fleets of different countries in Monaco now. As increasingly teachers and students pay attention to and participate in international exchanges in the industry, it will bring a more dynamic and innovative future to the yacht industry!
