To protect ecological environment and fishery resources of South China Sea, a fishing moratorium is implemented around the South China Sea by Hainan government every year. Since the lack of exciting events and actual income decreasing for fishermen during fishing moratorium and to actively respond to the policy of "businiess conversion of fisherman", it has been decided to hold the "South China Sea Fishing Festival".

The activity is to create a large-scale event with the theme of Hainan fisherman culture and to establish a new cultural tourism project, integrating and spreading Hainan fisherman culture, which also solves fishermen's income source and business conversion during fishing moratorium.

The South China Sea Fishing Festival is expected to be held in Sanya during May to August,2021.and the feasible organizer would be Kenlv Juhang Tourism. The event consists of three parts:

1. Recreational Fishery Summit Forum

Gathered high-level industry talents and senior practitioners, the Forum will give suggestions and actual contribution for developing recreation fishery of Hainan.

2. Large-scale offshore fishing events

A large-scale offshore fishing event that includes professional group and the amateur group will be hold through a variety of competition systems, interesting fishing methods, and pan-industry type layout.We strive to build a local and international offshore fishing event brand in Hainan.

3. Offshore Fishing Expo:

The offshore fishing industry expo that involves the surrounding businesses of ships, fishing tackle, equipment, etc. is expected to be hold, integrating function of exhibition, publicity, promotion, and commercial purchase.
